Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association and Association of the German Automotive Industry join forces against patent trolls

The Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association has reached an agreement with the Association of the German Automotive Industry regarding cooperative measures to be taken in 2009 against patent trolls by the two entities, while a similar agreement could not be reached with the “Big Three” (General Motors, Ford and Chrysler - the three major US car manufacturers).
