July Issue [General] Newsletter Regarding Applications Containing Multiple Claims In Japan, since April 2022, multiple claims have not been permitted in patent applications and utility model registration applications. On June 8, 2026, it was announced that in fiscal year 2025, patent applications containing multiple claims as a whole would no longer be permitted.
