A column on designs (Example of a trial decision on an image design (determination of lack of creative ability)) has been published

In “Examples of Decisions on Image Designs (Judgment on Ease of Creation)”, we introduce two examples of decisions in which image designs were found to be easy to create.

• Case in which it was found that the positional relationship was difficult to create (Appeal No. 2023-6747)
• A case in which the non-creativity of a design was recognized, including changes in its form (Appeal No. 2023-5796)
